01 / Equipment & concerns

Identify equipment, model and accessible condition; discuss comfort concerns.

02 / Airflow & filtration

Check thermostat operation, filter fit, accessible coil and blower condition. Install a homeowner-supplied compatible filter when safely accessible.

03 / Electrical checks

Inspect electrical connections and components; record applicable voltage, current and capacitor readings using equipment-specific procedures.

04 / Drainage & safeties

Check condensate pan, accessible drain and overflow protection; perform routine drain clearing and verify flow.

05 / Outdoor care

Inspect outdoor coil and clear loose debris; gently rinse when manufacturer-approved and safely accessible.

06 / Operating performance

Record supply/return temperatures and evaluate operation. Refrigerant tests follow manufacturer requirements and the symptoms observed; refrigerant is not automatically added.

07 / Your service report

Document deficiencies, inaccessible items and proposed corrective work. Obtain approval before repairs or additional cleaning.

Clear boundaries. No surprises.

One conventional residential split system, normal working hours and safe standard access. Repairs, refrigerant, replacement parts, specialty filters, deep chemical cleaning, blower/coil removal, duct cleaning and emergency callouts are not included. Additional systems, severe buildup and extra access time are quoted separately. No automatic renewal or guaranteed response time.

Ice machines, refrigeration, ductless multi-head systems and other specialized equipment need their own model-specific scope. Ask us to review yours.
